First Ofsted Findings Published for CQM T&C

Having recently experienced our first Ofsted Monitoring visit as a direct contract holding provider, CQM Training & Consultancy Ltd can now share their findings, which we are delighted to say confirm our provision of high quality apprenticeship training.

This has been achieved through a brilliant team effort and particular thanks should go to all our expert trainers and assessors that work so closely with our clients and learners to ensure the success of our programmes.

Of particular note, Ofsted highlighted that CQM T&C managers “…work with employers to develop detailed training plans and this ensures that apprentices participate in an appropriate amount of high-quality off-the-job training. Training includes formal taught sessions, self-study activities and a range of interesting projects that help apprentices to develop excellent vocational skills.”

In addition, it was noted that our trainers “…make use of high-quality learning resources and, increasingly make good use of online tools to support apprentices. They are well qualified, both in their vocational area and in teaching and assessing. They all have substantial experience of working within their sector, and apprentices and their employers rightly regard business change facilitators highly.”

Ofsted found that CQM Training & Consultancy had made ‘Significant progress’ in ensuring that apprentices benefit from high-quality training that leads to positive outcomes for apprentices.

“Business change facilitators use their considerable expertise to help apprentices to develop new skills and behaviours that help them carry out their roles more effectively. As a result, apprentices can describe and demonstrate the knowledge and skills that they have developed and how their approach to work has changed for the better.”

Andy Cheshire, Managing Director CQM T&C, commented, “I am delighted that the conclusions made are a reflection of the hard work we have done together with our clients and apprentices. The report is positive and of course there are continued areas to work on, which we will endeavor to improve.”
