Lean Management in the Drinks and Brewing Industry Roger Lombard – Senior Consultant - Roger has 25 years in manufacturing industry after graduation, mostly in senior/general management, with ten years at director level, before becoming a freelance training consultant fourteen years ago. His areas of particular interest are helping organisations with continuous improvement and the management of change and in developing and delivering training in the “soft” management and interpersonal skills. Sylvia Jenkinson – Centre Co-ordinator - Sylvia started her career working with a well known Sheffield training organisation over 21 years ago.Now with CQM Sylvia’s role as Centre Co-ordinator is to ensure a smooth day to day running of the main office, as well as being support to the delivery team and general manager. Gemma Callaghan – Project Co-ordinator - Gemma plays a vital role within CQM as key support for the business delivery team within the Sheffield based office. As well as modifying and preparing material, Gemma has also gained skills in development and maintenance of CQM’s website. Phil Topley – Senior Consultant - Phil graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Sheffield University and has worked in Operations for the last 35 years. His career started in the steel industry (forges and foundries), before moving into garment manufacture and to engineering fabrications. Andy Cheshire – Operations Director – MEng - Andy has wide experience gained in the food industry which built on a first degree in Chemical Engineering. Working in a number of senior roles in blue chip and family owned organisations, Andy achieved significant operational changes at the front end. Ann Morrell – Business Development Executive - Ann started her career in the financial sector before she assumed a role within the Sales and Marketing division of business. Her financial background has led Ann to be methodological in the formulation of marketing plans and client networks. David Ellis – Senior Consultant - David studied electrical engineering at Sheffield Polytechnic and worked extensively in the steel industry. He worked as quality manager for NEI before moving into consultancy 17 years ago, initially specializing in ISO 9000 and SPC (Statistical Process Control). Deborah Wild – General Manager - Deborah’s background is in senior retail management with the Thomas Cook group. Her skills stem from being able to lead large teams in a highly competitive and price sensitive market. Peter Booth – Managing Director - ARICS - Peter’s early professional career was as a Chartered Surveyor specialising in corporate valuation work, machinery/ plant valuations and institutional investment feasibility projects both in the UK and overseas. Trevor Wing – Senior Consultant - With over 35yrs manufacturing experience and a varied career in an industrial environment, Trevor has an in-depth knowledge of operations management and performance improvement. His experience spans from a formal engineering apprenticeship where he obtained a HNC in mechanical engineering, through to senior management responsibilities. Garry Millington – Senior Consultant - Gary has over 12 years experience in Lean practices within the Automotive industry. He has excellent skills in developing and delivering training programmes designed around all principles of Lean.
